This Turkey Fruit Platter is the perfect "no-bake" treat to keep your little ones busy while the big dinner is cooking. While ELI usually runs on batteries, today our favorite robot is powered by crunchy carrots and sweet strawberries.
This recipe is a perfect project for little helpers. Even the youngest chefs (ages 2+) can help ELI build the turkey.

Assemble the Turkey
- The Wash Station: Let your toddler help rinse and gently pat dry the fruits and veggies.
- Slice & Prep: Slice the fruits and veggies, organizing by color.
- Begin with the Body: Place a pear or apple half in the center of the platter for the turkey body.
- Feather Fluffing: Help your child arrange the fruit slices in circles to make the big, beautiful tail feathers. Starting from the outside, arrange red fruits or veggies around an apple or pear half. Moving inwards, add more colors.
- Finishing Details: Use chocolate chip for eyes. Cut small triangles and sticks of carrot for the beak and legs. Cut a small piece of apple or strawberry for the turkey wattle.
- Gobble It Up! Sprinkle extra fruits & veggies around the platter to make it look even more festive and delicious!
🦃 Once your turkey looks festive, gather around and enjoy!
